Settlement Testing is a fast, 18-minute ADR tool designed to reveal when both parties are genuinely ready to settle. By pinpointing whether mediation is likely to succeed, it saves time, money, and your client’s expectations from being wasted on premature negotiations.

How It Works
Both parties log into the Settlement Testing platform at a scheduled time. Over 18 minutes, each side submits potential settlement numbers into a secure server. The tool then provides a thermometer reading, indicating how closely the numbers align:

• Cold: Numbers are far apart, signaling that settlement is unlikely.
• Hot: Numbers are close, showing a strong potential for resolution.

Crucially, the numbers you submit remain confidential. Only the thermometer reading is shared, giving you complete control over whether to disclose any figures. If the numbers are close and you’re ready to settle, you can share your terms—but only if you choose to.
